Will my dietary requirements be catered for?

We will provide a vegetarian alternative at all meals suitable for most dietary requirements. However, if you have a food allergy (for example nut / gluten), please let us know

Is there free Wifi and will I be able to get my social media fix?

Yes, there is free wifi available throughout the venue. On site there will be a code to access the wifi

How will I get my CPD certificate?

Scan the QR code to access the online evaluation which will go live after the meeting

Expectations for CPD are based on self reflection rather than collection of evidence. It is your responsiblity to complete the evaluation in good time. You will be emailed a self completing certificate after completing the evaluation or you can download self-completing certificates using the links below. BIPOSA does not keep or provide copies of certificates.

What’s BIPOSA doing to help save the planet?

We use bamboo lanyards and have reduced the plastic on our name badges

BIPOSA does not provide delegate bags, pens or paper

All receipts and information are sent electronically

We are trying to minimise our carbon print as much as possible.  Any reasonable suggestions welcome!

What social activities are taking place?

Wednesday Group Photo before the start of the reception

Wednesday evening Reception – The organising committee would like to invite you to a welcome reception on Wednesday evening at approximately 6.15 pm for approximately 75 minutes. This will take place in the Atrium at the Royal Society of Medicine

Thursday morning – A BIPOSA tradition is the 5 km early morning run suitable for all abilities. Release those endorphins! Meet outside the front of the Royal Society of Medicine at 7.30 am

Thursday evening – the BIPOSA annual dinner will take place in the Members and Strangers Dining Room at the House of Commons.  This event is SOLD OUT. Remember to bring your individually printed ticket and ID as you will not get in without them. Please do not turn up if you do not have your own ticket as you will not get passed security.

Travel

London is one of the most easily accessible cities in the UK with excellent road, rail and air links

The nearest tube stations are Oxford Circus (5 minutes walk) or Bond Street (6 minutes walk)
